Credentials

There are six credentials that the Institute offers:

Medical Project Associate (MPA) certification requires the completion of the 3-day Applied Healthcare Project Management course to recognise a person that is at a team member level with introductory knowledge about Medical Project Management.

Team members act to either provide support or to work in healthcare project teams.

Medical Project Manager (MPM) certification requires completion of the 5-day Advanced Healthcare Project Management course that recognises a person with project manager level knowledge about Medical Project Management.

Project managers are expected to have the ability to plan and execute healthcare projects and to lead project teams.

Medical Scrum Master (MSM) certification requires completion of the 2-day Agile Scrum Healthcare Project Management course  recognises a person with scrum master practitioner level knowledge about Medical Agile Scrum Project Management.

Scrum masters are expected to be able to support the planning and execution of agile approaches to healthcare project management and to support project teams.

Diploma of Project Management (DipPM) is an internationally-recognised qualification that recognises a person at the MPM™ certification level who has also been assessed with workplace experience in planning and executing healthcare projects.

The award is issued by the Business Education Institute, which is a Government approved Registered Training Organisation that can issue internationally-recognised qualifications.

Diploma of Leadership and Management (DipLM) is an internationally-recognised qualification that recognises a person with leadership or management skills working in healthcare environments. It is designed for those involved in leadership and management roles.
